ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new online program designed to help college students who struggle with binge eating and binge drinking. The program is mobile-based, meaning you can use it on your phone, and it offers helpful information and strategies to reduce these behaviors. It also encourages students to consider talking to a counselor in person for more support.
To be eligible for this trial, you need to be a full-time undergraduate student between the ages of 18 and 24, able to read and speak English, and have experienced binge drinking or binge eating at least twice in the past month. Binge drinking is defined as having five or more drinks in a row for men or four or more for women, while binge eating involves consuming a large amount of food and feeling a loss of control over it. If you haven't received any mental health or substance use treatment in the past month and meet these criteria, you may qualify to participate. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but if you do join, you can expect to engage with the program materials and possibly get more help for these challenges.
