ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how walking abilities change in patients who have had a stroke during their recovery period in rehabilitation centers. Specifically, it aims to understand how patients regain their ability to walk from the time they begin treatment up to six months after their stroke. The study is currently recruiting participants who are between the ages of 65 and 74 and have been hospitalized due to a stroke.
To join the study, participants must be in a rehabilitation center after experiencing a stroke and be part of a social security program. Unfortunately, individuals who had trouble walking before the stroke, have other serious illnesses, or do not wish to participate cannot take part. If chosen for the study, participants will have their walking abilities monitored over time, helping researchers understand how recovery progresses after a stroke. This information could provide valuable insights for improving rehabilitation for future patients.
