ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to prevent drug overdoses by using social networks and peer education. The researchers believe that people who use opioids can help educate their friends and family about overdose prevention and care. They want to see if this approach can make a difference in keeping people safe from overdoses.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, live in the Baltimore area, and have used illicit opioids at least twice in the last two weeks. You should also be willing to engage in educating others and recruit at least one person who does not use drugs. If you join, you can expect to take part in in-person sessions where you'll learn and share information about overdose prevention. It's a chance to help yourself and others in your community while also getting support.
