ClinConnect Summary
The INOCA Spanish National Registry is a clinical trial designed to study a condition called Ischemic Non-Obstructive Coronary Artery (INOCA) disease. This condition affects many patients who experience heart-related symptoms but do not have blockages in their coronary arteries that can be seen through standard tests. Despite not having significant blockages, patients with INOCA can still face serious heart problems and limitations in their daily activities. The trial aims to better understand how common INOCA is and its different forms, which will help improve patient care.
To participate in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old and have symptoms of chest pain or discomfort along with results from tests showing that their heart is not getting enough blood. Importantly, they should not have significant blockages in their coronary arteries. Participants will undergo specific tests to assess their heart's function and will need to provide informed consent to join. This study is currently looking for participants, and being part of it could contribute to vital research that enhances our understanding of heart conditions that don't show typical signs of blockage.
