ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well stroke patients can stick to their rehabilitation therapy when they receive nutrition through two different methods. Some patients will get their nutrition through an Intermittent Oro-esophageal Tube, while others will use a Nasogastric Tube. The goal is to see which method helps patients adhere better to their rehabilitation program, which is important for their recovery after a stroke.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with a stroke. You should also have some difficulty swallowing, called dysphagia, and be stable enough to cooperate with assessments. However, if you have other serious health issues or certain complications, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive standard rehabilitation treatment alongside the nutrition method assigned to you, while researchers monitor how well you follow the rehabilitation program. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so the start date is still to be determined.
