ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to test a new tool called the Screen of Cancer Survivorship - Occupational Therapy Services (SOCS-OTS). The goal is to see how well this tool works in identifying patients who may need occupational therapy (OT) after cancer treatment, compared to another screening method currently used at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Occupational therapy can help cancer survivors regain their daily living skills and improve their quality of life.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and currently receiving care at the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation (PMR) clinic, even if you're not actively sick. It's important that you can read and speak English, as the assessments are only available in that language. Participants will help researchers understand how well the SOCS-OTS tool works, which could lead to better support for cancer survivors in the future. If you have any confusion or cognitive issues that make it hard for you to understand what’s happening, you may not be eligible to join. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and everyone is welcome to apply.
