ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a specific medical procedure called ultrasound-guided percutaneous cholecystostomy, which is a way to drain fluid from the gallbladder without needing major surgery. The goal is to see how safe and effective this technique is when performed at the patient's bedside. This study is open to patients aged 18 and older who need this procedure for any reason, as long as they do not have certain severe health issues or require a different method of catheter placement.
If you or a loved one is eligible and chooses to participate, you can expect to undergo the ultrasound-guided procedure, which is designed to help relieve symptoms related to a condition called cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder). The trial is currently looking for participants, and everyone, regardless of gender, can take part as long as they meet the inclusion criteria. This study aims to provide valuable information that could improve the way this procedure is performed in the future.
