ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help patients who have experienced trauma, such as violence or stress-related issues, by using something called a Trauma-Informed Care Plan (TICP). The goal is to see how well these care plans work for both patients and their healthcare providers. Researchers want to find out if the care plans are easy to use, if healthcare teams feel more aware of the trauma patients have faced, and if patients feel better supported and understood during their medical visits.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 60, have complex healthcare needs, and visit healthcare providers frequently. They should also be able to speak English or Spanish and agree to be part of the study. Those who participate can expect to provide feedback on their experiences with the care plans and how these plans may improve their overall care. It’s important to note that the study is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information to come about how to get involved.
