ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of ovarian cancer called high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) to see if special features seen on CT scans at the time of diagnosis can help create an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. This model aims to identify if the cancer has spread to the mesentery (a fold of tissue that attaches the intestines to the abdominal wall), which could affect how successful surgery might be and whether the cancer will respond to certain chemotherapy treatments.
Women who are over 18 and have been diagnosed with advanced HGSOC that has affected the mesentery may be eligible to participate. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to provide consent and undergo imaging tests. It's important to know that this trial is only for women with a specific type of ovarian cancer and stage, and it excludes those with early-stage disease or other types of ovarian cancer.
