ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how music and interaction can help reduce feelings of distress during a Whole-Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging (WB-MRI) scan in patients with malignant tumors. The researchers want to see if listening to music and having supportive communication makes the experience more comfortable compared to standard care, which does not include these interventions. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the group that experiences the music and interaction or the group that receives standard care during their WB-MRI.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be scheduled for a WB-MRI to help detect or monitor their cancer and must agree to take part by signing an informed consent form. However, individuals with certain conditions—like having a pacemaker, being in the first trimester of pregnancy, or having anxiety disorders—are not eligible. If you decide to join, you can expect a supportive environment where your comfort is prioritized, and you will help researchers understand how music and interaction can improve the experience of medical imaging for patients.
