ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how using a bedpan affects patients, especially those with limited mobility. The researchers believe that the bedpans currently used in hospitals may not be suitable for all patients, and they want to gather feedback from patients about their experiences. The goal is to understand if using these bedpans causes discomfort, pain, or changes in skin condition for patients who are bedridden and need to use them.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have reduced mobility, meaning you cannot get out of bed easily and require a bedpan. You should also expect to stay in the hospital for at least two days and be able to understand the study's information. If you decide to join, you will share your thoughts about using the bedpan during your hospital stay. It’s important to note that patients with certain cognitive difficulties or legal restrictions may not be eligible for this study.
