ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how allied-health professionals, like pharmacists and nurses, can help improve the care and treatment for women who have had preeclampsia during pregnancy. Preeclampsia is a serious condition that can affect pregnant women, and this study aims to see if these professionals can effectively support patients by keeping in touch and helping with their healthcare needs over time.
To participate, you need to be a biological mother who gave birth at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) and had preeclampsia during your pregnancy. You should also have received prenatal care at UIHC, have a smartphone, and your baby should be between 1 and 9 months old. If you join, you'll be asked to monitor your blood pressure at home and share the results with the research team, meet with a pharmacist for support over the next year, and come back for a check-up after 12 months. This study is not yet recruiting, but it aims to help women receive better care after experiencing preeclampsia.
