ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how well a specific surgical procedure, called nail arthrodesis, works for patients who have suffered from ankle fractures, especially in cases where there are complications like infection. The main goal is to understand how the surgery affects patients' ability to function and recover after treatment. Participants in the study will be asked to fill out a questionnaire during their follow-up visits to share their experiences and outcomes.

To be eligible for this trial, patients need to be over 18 years old and have had the nail arthrodesis surgery due to an infection. They also need to have social security coverage. Unfortunately, those who cannot participate include patients who might not be able to answer questions or who cannot commit to a follow-up period of six months. The trial is still in the planning phase and has not started recruiting participants yet. If you or a loved one meet these criteria, this study may provide valuable insights into recovery after ankle surgery.
