ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different tools used to examine the gastrointestinal tract, focusing on the pancreas and bile ducts. Researchers want to find out if the new EndoSound Vision System is better than the standard echoendoscope for spotting and assessing various issues, such as pancreatic disease and tumors. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 18 and older who are scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedure to evaluate conditions affecting the pancreas, bile ducts, or certain lymph nodes.
If you or a loved one qualifies for this trial, you can expect to undergo a routine examination that will help doctors gather important information about your condition. Being part of this study may also contribute to understanding and improving diagnostic techniques for gastrointestinal diseases. It's important to note that individuals under 18, those who cannot give consent, or pregnant individuals are not eligible to participate.
