ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different pain relief methods after a cesarean section affect women's recovery. The researchers are comparing three techniques: one involves injecting a local anesthetic into the abdominal area, another uses morphine combined with a local anesthetic, and the third is a nerve block called the quadratus lumborum block. They will measure recovery using a specific score that evaluates how patients feel after surgery.
To participate in this study, women must be having an elective cesarean section under spinal anesthesia and be between 18 and 50 years old. They should be having a single baby and not have any serious health issues like diabetes or heart disease. If chosen, participants can expect to receive one of the three pain relief methods and will help researchers understand which method works best for easing pain and improving recovery after surgery.
