ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how sleep disorders, like obstructive sleep apnea, affect the immune system in patients who have had COVID-19. Researchers want to understand whether not having enough sleep or having untreated sleep issues can change how the body responds to infections. They will also explore how getting a flu vaccine might help improve the immune response in these patients.
To participate in the study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with COVID-19 between March and June 2021. If you're over 70 or under 18, or if you've had COVID-19 in the last six months, you won’t be eligible. The study is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to contribute to important research that could help improve understanding of how sleep affects health during infections like COVID-19.
