ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying whether a simple check-up with an oral health professional can encourage older adults to visit the dentist more regularly. The research focuses on people aged 65 and older who live at home and haven't had a dental check-up in the past year. By offering a friendly, low-pressure examination, the study aims to see if this approach can improve dental visits among older individuals, which is important for maintaining good oral health.

To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be 65 years or older, speak Dutch, and live in specific areas. They should also be capable of answering questions about their health. If you or someone you know fits this description and hasn’t been to the dentist recently, this study might be a great opportunity to get involved and help improve dental care for older adults. Participants can expect a supportive environment where they will receive an oral health examination and potentially be encouraged to schedule future dental visits.
