ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to create a new blood test that can help find colorectal adenomas (precancerous growths) and colorectal cancer early. The goal is to make this test highly sensitive and specific, meaning it should accurately detect these conditions without many false results. Researchers will use advanced technology and methods to analyze the blood samples and improve early detection of these potentially serious conditions.
To take part in this study, participants should be between 65 and 74 years old and have had a colonoscopy (a procedure to look at the inside of the colon) when their blood was drawn. They must also have received standard tests and diagnoses for their condition before starting any treatment. It's important to note that individuals with certain hereditary conditions related to colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel diseases will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to provide a blood sample and have your health monitored as researchers work to improve the early detection of colorectal issues.
