ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how discharge training can help patients recover after surgery for intertrochanteric femur fractures, which are breaks in the thigh bone near the hip. The researchers want to see if providing education about wound care and recovery before and after patients leave the hospital can improve healing and make it easier for them to manage their recovery at home.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, able to speak and understand Turkish, and have had surgery for an intertrochanteric femur fracture. However, if you have a physical disability that makes it hard for you to care for yourself or have a psychiatric condition, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive helpful information about how to care for your wound and what steps to take for a smooth recovery after you go home. The study is currently looking for participants, and anyone who meets the criteria is encouraged to consider joining.
