ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how patients with benign thyroid nodules communicate and make decisions during face-to-face consultations with their doctors. The goal is to see how well patients understand their treatment options when they talk with their endocrinologist, surgeon, or radiologist. By recording these conversations, researchers hope to learn more about the relationship between patient satisfaction and effective communication.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with a benign thyroid nodule, and have a scheduled appointment with one of the specialists mentioned. It's also important that you can speak and understand Italian well, as the consultations will be recorded in that language. Patients with certain mental or neurological disorders that could affect their participation will not be included. If you decide to join, you can expect to engage in a regular consultation while contributing to valuable research that may improve communication between patients and doctors in the future.
