ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how treating chronic low back pain might help people who also have a condition called Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD), which affects the jaw and can cause pain. Participants in the study will be divided into two groups. One group will do Rocabado's exercise, which focuses on jaw movements, while the other group will do both Rocabado's exercises and special exercises for the lower back. Before and after their exercise sessions, the second group will also participate in warm-up and cool-down exercises to help prepare their bodies and recover.
To join this trial, you must be between 23 and 65 years old, have been experiencing pain in your jaw for at least three months, and have had low back pain for at least six months. Unfortunately, if you've had certain injuries, surgeries, or other health conditions recently, you may not be eligible to participate. If you do take part, you can expect to be involved in this study for six weeks, where your pain and ability to function will be assessed at the end to see if the exercises made a difference.
