ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at two different ways to take impressions (or molds) of the mouth to see which method works best for creating a fixed prosthesis—essentially, a set of artificial teeth supported by dental implants. The trial will compare a digital method, which uses advanced technology, with a traditional method that has been used for many years. The goal is to find out which method provides a more accurate fit for patients who need new teeth.

To participate in the trial, you need to be between 18 and 70 years old and have lost teeth in your upper or lower jaw that cannot be restored. You also need to be able to get dental implants, which are small posts placed in the jawbone to support artificial teeth. It's important that your gums are healthy and that you have enough bone for the implants. If you have a strong gag reflex or certain dental conditions, you may not be eligible. If you decide to take part, you'll be asked to sign a consent form, and the study will help you understand what you can expect throughout the process.
