ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called MaNeNeND, is focused on understanding how balance and walking abilities are affected in individuals with rare and very rare neurological diseases, as well as those with undiagnosed conditions. These diseases can impact the nervous system and may lead to problems with movement and an increased risk of falls, which can result in serious injuries. The study aims to gather important information about how these conditions progress and how they can be diagnosed and treated more effectively.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be over 18 years old and have a specific neurological condition like multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, or a rare neurological disease. They should also be able to stand and walk independently for a short distance. Participants will complete several assessments, including questionnaires about their balance and fatigue, as well as physical tests to measure their walking speed and balance. This research will help to better identify the unique challenges faced by those with these rare conditions and will contribute valuable data for future studies.
