ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how certain factors affect bone strength in people with acromegaly, a condition caused by too much growth hormone. The researchers want to understand what makes some patients more likely to have weak bones and fractures. This study is currently recruiting participants who have been diagnosed with acromegaly and can attend regular outpatient appointments.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must have a confirmed diagnosis of acromegaly and be able to provide consent to join the study. However, individuals who are pregnant, have certain serious health conditions, or have had recent fractures may not qualify. Those who join can expect to undergo various tests and evaluations to help researchers gather important information about bone health in acromegaly patients. This study aims to improve understanding and treatment of bone health in this group.
