ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how an online exercise program can help musicians who play stringed instruments, like the violin or cello, deal with musculoskeletal problems, such as pain in their muscles or joints. Many musicians experience these issues due to their long hours of practice and performance. The trial uses a special exercise program designed for professional musicians, which will be conducted live through Google Meet, allowing participants to exercise together while receiving real-time feedback. Additionally, participants will be given a smart band to wear, which will help track their physical activity throughout the study.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 65, play a string instrument with a local orchestra or conservatory, and have been playing for at least five years. They should also be experiencing musculoskeletal pain related to their instrument playing. Participants will need to commit to exercising once a week for eight weeks. This study offers a unique opportunity for musicians to improve their physical health in a flexible, supportive online environment.
