ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using virtual reality glasses during a procedure called intrauterine insemination (IUI) can help reduce anxiety and improve patient satisfaction. IUI is a common treatment for infertility where sperm is placed directly inside a woman's uterus. The researchers want to see if wearing VR glasses while undergoing this procedure can make women feel less anxious and more satisfied with their experience. The study will include women aged 18 to 45 who are experiencing primary infertility and can understand and speak Turkish.
Participants in the trial will be randomly assigned to either use the virtual reality glasses or not during their IUI procedure. Before and after the procedure, they will fill out some questionnaires to assess their anxiety levels and how they felt about the care they received. It's important to note that women who have psychiatric issues or epilepsy cannot take part in the study for safety reasons. This trial aims to find out if virtual reality can be a helpful tool in improving the experience of women undergoing IUI.
