ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the IFS survey, aims to understand how doctors in intensive care units in Sichuan Province are diagnosing and treating invasive fungal infections—serious infections caused by fungi that can affect patients with weakened immune systems. The survey will focus on three main areas: how familiar doctors are with diagnosing and treating these infections, the antifungal medications they use, and the methods they employ to identify the fungi causing the infections. By gathering this information, researchers hope to pinpoint any challenges doctors face and develop training programs to improve care for patients.

To participate in this survey, doctors must work in intensive care at medical facilities in Sichuan Province. Unfortunately, doctors from outside the province or those who do not work in intensive care units will not be eligible. The survey is not yet open for recruitment, so there are no participants at this time. If you are an intensive care physician in Sichuan, this study may provide an opportunity to contribute to important improvements in the treatment of fungal infections.
