ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how education can help people with schizophrenia deal with stigma, which is the negative attitudes and beliefs society may have about mental illness. The study focuses on a type of education called psychoeducation, which teaches individuals about their condition, helps them recognize symptoms, and improves their ability to follow treatment plans. By understanding stigma better, participants may feel less ashamed or judged, leading to a more positive outlook on their mental health.
To be part of this trial, participants need to be over 18 years old, have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, and have been stable (in remission) for at least two months. They should also live in the Edirne city area and have completed at least primary school. The trial is not currently recruiting participants, but if you or someone you know is eligible, this study could provide valuable support in managing the challenges of living with schizophrenia and reducing the impact of stigma.
