ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how two measures, called qCON and qNOX, work together during general anesthesia. These measures help doctors monitor a patient's brain activity and pain levels while they are under anesthesia with medications like Propofol and Remifentanil. The goal of the study is to understand how these two indicators relate to each other, which could improve patient safety and comfort during surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be women aged between 65 and 74 who are scheduled for surgery that requires general anesthesia with the specific medications mentioned. However, those with neurological or psychiatric diseases, obesity, or who will receive localized anesthesia cannot take part in the study. Participants will be monitored using a special device (CONOX) during their procedure, providing valuable information that could help improve anesthesia practices in the future.
