ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment for Shoulder Impingement Syndrome (SIS), a condition where the shoulder tends to hurt when raising the arm due to pressure on the shoulder tendons. The researchers want to see if specific hands-on techniques, called mobilization therapy for the neck and upper back, can help relieve this pain and improve movement.
To participate in this trial, individuals should be experiencing shoulder pain when lifting their arm, especially between certain angles, and have had positive results on specific shoulder tests performed by a healthcare professional. However, those with a history of neck nerve problems, previous shoulder surgeries, recent steroid injections, or recent physical therapy for their shoulder won't be eligible. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but if someone qualifies, they can expect to receive targeted therapy aimed at easing their shoulder discomfort.
