ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how different types of soft contact lenses affect tear production, comfort, and corneal staining, which is a condition that can occur when wearing contacts. The study will involve healthy volunteers aged 19 to 29 who have experience wearing contact lenses. Before participating, they will need to stop using their regular lenses for two weeks. The trial will test five different types of soft contact lenses, and participants will wear each type for just one day.
To be eligible, participants must have a certain level of vision correction (less than -6.00DS) and no significant eye problems. Notably, smokers, those with eye diseases or who have had eye surgeries, pregnant women, and individuals taking specific medications won't be able to join. After wearing the lenses for a day, participants will fill out a short questionnaire about their experience. This research aims to better understand how different contact lenses can impact comfort and eye health.
