ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Hydraulic Resistance and Older Adults," aims to understand how using special hydraulic exercise equipment can help older adults reduce their risk of falling and improve their overall physical function. The study will look at whether this type of exercise makes a difference in strength and balance for seniors. Participants will be involved in an exercise program that takes place twice a week for six weeks, where they will use five different hydraulic machines designed to strengthen their muscles safely.
To be part of this study, you need to be a healthy adult aged 60 or older. Unfortunately, those younger than 60, or with certain medical conditions like neurological disorders or recent surgeries, won’t be eligible. During the trial, participants will be tested before and after the exercise program to see how their strength and balance have improved. This is a great opportunity for older adults looking to enhance their fitness and potentially lower their risk of falls!
