ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how virtual reality can help reduce pain and anxiety in children receiving a specific type of anesthesia called infiltration anesthesia during dental treatments. The study aims to see if using virtual reality as a distraction makes the experience more comfortable for young patients.
To participate in this trial, children must be healthy and cooperative, between the ages of about 2 to 4 years, and need non-urgent dental treatment that requires infiltration anesthesia. Parents will need to give permission for their child to take part. However, children with certain medical conditions, like seizures or eye problems, and those under 5 years old, cannot join. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, it offers a unique opportunity to explore how technology can make dental visits easier for kids.
