ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring different ways to train medical students in a technique called critical care echocardiography (CCE), which involves using ultrasound to examine the heart. The study compares traditional in-person training from an experienced instructor with training using virtual reality (VR) simulators and artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The goal is to find out if these modern methods can teach students just as well as in-person instruction.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be medical students over 21 years old who have not had much experience with CCE before. Those who have already taken CCE courses or who do not want to complete the training sessions will not be able to join. If you participate, you can expect to engage in hands-on training sessions using these different teaching methods. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it aims to help improve how future doctors learn important skills in caring for patients with heart conditions.
