ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Adolescent Mother and Breastfeeding Education," aims to help young mothers who are under 18 years old improve their breastfeeding skills and confidence. It recognizes that adolescent mothers often face challenges when it comes to breastfeeding, which is crucial for the health of both the mother and the baby. The study will look at how education about breastfeeding can positively impact how these young mothers feel about breastfeeding, their bond with their baby, and the baby's growth and health.
To participate in this trial, mothers must be under 18, have given birth vaginally between 37 and 40 weeks, and be willing to breastfeed. They also need to have received some breastfeeding advice from the hospital and be able to communicate in Turkish. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, eligible mothers will receive support and education to help them with breastfeeding during the first few weeks after giving birth. This trial is important because it aims to reduce the risks that young mothers and their infants face, ultimately promoting better health outcomes for both.
