ClinConnect Summary
The GF-NOURISH study is a clinical trial designed to help children with celiac disease learn more about healthy eating. The main goal is to teach families how to choose naturally gluten-free foods while reducing their intake of ultra-processed gluten-free products, which are often less healthy. Researchers believe that this nutritional education can lead to various health benefits for children with celiac disease.
To participate in the trial, children aged 2 to 18 who have recently been diagnosed with celiac disease may be eligible. However, children who have allergies to certain common foods or other health conditions that require special diets may not qualify. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to receive guidance on making healthier food choices in a supportive environment. This could be a great opportunity for families looking to improve their child's nutrition and overall health.
