ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how helpful an intensive care unit (ICU) diary can be for patients who have received a liver transplant. The diary aims to help these patients remember their experiences while they are in the ICU, which can be a confusing and stressful time. By documenting their journey, the hope is to improve their recovery and overall experience.
To be part of this study, participants need to be adults aged 18 or older who are willing to sign a consent form and can read and write in Chinese. They must be admitted to the ICU for liver transplant surgery. However, individuals with certain mental or cognitive challenges, or those on heavy sedative medications, won't be eligible for this trial. While it’s not yet recruiting participants, it’s important to know that this study will help researchers understand how keeping a diary can support liver transplant patients during their recovery in the ICU.
