ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see if a new program can help older adults who are experiencing both depression and some memory issues, known as subjective cognitive decline. The program lasts for 8 weeks and involves peer coaches—people who have similar experiences—providing support and care to participants. The goal is to find out how well this approach works and if participants feel comfortable with it.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be at least 60 years old, have some memory concerns, and show signs of depression, but you should not be experiencing severe mental health issues like active suicidal thoughts or untreated serious mental illnesses. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you fit these criteria, you may have the opportunity to join and receive help tailored to your needs. Throughout the trial, participants can expect to engage in supportive sessions with their peer coaches, providing them with tools and strategies to manage their emotions and improve their mental well-being.
