ClinConnect Summary
The VENREDI trial is studying how a special program can help older adults stick to the Mediterranean diet, which is known to be heart-healthy and can reduce the risk of certain diseases. The program includes educational talks about nutrition, practical seminars on shopping for healthy foods, and cooking workshops where participants will prepare and taste meals together. The goal is to see if these activities improve the participants' adherence to the Mediterranean diet over three months.
To take part in this study, you need to be at least 60 years old, retired or close to retirement, and willing to sign up for the program. You'll receive valuable information about healthy eating, and you'll get hands-on experience in shopping and cooking. The study will also check in with you before and after the program to see how much you've improved in your diet and overall well-being. It's a great opportunity to learn new skills and contribute to research that could benefit many people!
