ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the effects of a supplement called Coenzyme Q10 on children with Type 1 Diabetes. The goal is to see how this supplement might help manage blood sugar levels and a specific marker called glycosylated hemoglobin, which gives an idea of how well blood sugar has been controlled over time.
To participate, children must be between 2 and 18 years old, have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for at least one year, and be in generally good health. However, those who have had diabetes for less than a year, have other specific health conditions like thyroid or celiac diseases, or are diagnosed with types of diabetes other than Type 1 will not be eligible. As the trial is not yet recruiting, families interested in this study will need to wait until it begins, but it could be an opportunity to help researchers learn more about managing diabetes in children.
