ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of virtual home visits for stroke patients and their caregivers. The goal is to see if these virtual visits can provide better care while being more convenient and cost-effective compared to traditional face-to-face visits. Researchers will also assess how easy it is to use a new mobile application developed for these virtual visits. The study will involve stroke patients and caregivers from the Antalya Training and Research Hospital and will compare a group that receives virtual care to another group that receives in-person care.

To participate in the study, patients should be recently diagnosed with a stroke and have varying levels of dependence in daily activities. Caregivers must have internet access and be the main person responsible for the patient’s care. Participants can expect to take part in virtual visits and provide feedback on their experiences. This study aims to improve access to home care services and may help shape future telemedicine practices.
