ClinConnect Summary
The PREMs In Vascular SurgERy Enhancement Study is a clinical trial focused on creating a tool called a Patient Reported Experience Measure (PREM) for patients who have undergone vascular surgery. This tool will help patients share their experiences about the care they received, which in turn allows healthcare providers to understand what is working well and where improvements can be made. The study aims to gather feedback from patients across Wales to develop a PREM that reflects their unique needs and experiences.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults aged 18 or older who have had a vascular procedure within the last three months and are able to communicate in English or Welsh. Participants will take part in focus groups and complete a questionnaire to share their thoughts on their healthcare experience. This feedback will help refine the PREM, ensuring it effectively captures patients' voices and can be widely used to enhance care for vascular surgery patients in the future. Your involvement will not only contribute to this important research but also help shape better healthcare experiences for others.
