ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a product called PerioPull™, an oil rinse that people can buy from their dentist's office, to see how it affects dental health. The study will last for 12 weeks and aims to determine if using PerioPull™ can improve important signs of dental health, like plaque and gum condition. Researchers believe that this product could help people maintain healthier teeth and gums.
To join the study, participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have some specific dental conditions, like a certain level of plaque and gum bleeding. They also need to be able to read and write in English and agree to take part in the study after understanding what it involves. Participants will continue their normal dental care routine while using the product. It's important to note that people who smoke, are pregnant, have certain allergies, or have recently had dental treatment may not be eligible to join. Overall, this study hopes to find out if PerioPull™ can be a helpful addition to dental care for older adults.
