ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new approach called Music Breathing Therapy, designed for children aged 7 to 12 years who have Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and their primary caregivers. The goal is to see if this therapy can help improve resilience, reduce emotional and behavioral issues in children, and lessen the stress and psychological distress that parents often experience. The trial will involve fun, interactive sessions using music and breathing techniques, and researchers want to know how well families accept and stick with the program.
To participate, children must have a documented ADHD diagnosis and be able to read and communicate in Chinese. Their parents, who must be 21 years or older and primary caregivers living with the child, also need to be able to read and communicate in Chinese. However, children with other serious health issues or those who have recently participated in music therapy are not eligible. Participants can expect to engage in enjoyable activities that may help both the child and the parent feel better emotionally and psychologically. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so it's a great opportunity for families looking for new ways to support their child's well-being.
