ClinConnect Summary
The "Psychotrauma Prevention Algorithm" study is a research trial designed to help people who have recently experienced a traumatic event, such as an accident or violence. The trial will look at whether adding a special support system for managing psychological trauma can improve care compared to standard treatment alone. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive only the usual care, while the other will receive the usual care along with this new support system.
To participate in the study, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, have experienced a traumatic event within the last week, and be able to read and write. You should also be a member of a health insurance program and be willing to give your consent to join. If you qualify, you can expect to receive care tailored to your needs, and your experience will help researchers learn more about how to support people after trauma. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information that could benefit many in the future.
