ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special technology called Explainable AI (XAI) can help doctors better understand ultrasound images of unborn babies. Specifically, it looks at a method called Doppler ultrasound, which helps monitor blood flow in two important areas: the umbilical artery (UA) and the middle cerebral artery (MCA). The trial involves 92 doctors who will be divided into two groups—one group will receive helpful feedback from the AI, while the other group will not. The goal is to see if the AI feedback improves the doctors' accuracy in interpreting these ultrasound images and making medical decisions.
To be eligible for this trial, doctors need to use ultrasound at least once a week and must have experience in performing ultrasound scans. Those who participate can expect to engage in a study that aims to improve how ultrasound results are interpreted, which could ultimately benefit patient care. The trial is currently recruiting participants and welcomes doctors of all genders. Overall, this research could lead to better monitoring and care for unborn babies by enhancing the skills of healthcare providers.
