ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the relationship between vitamin deficiencies and dental caries, which are common tooth decay problems, among young children in Egypt. Dental caries is known to be one of the most frequent chronic diseases affecting children, and researchers want to understand if a lack of certain vitamins is linked to a higher risk of developing cavities.
To participate in this study, children must be between 3 and 5 years old, and their parents need to agree to their involvement. However, children who are taking long-term medications or receiving orthodontic treatment (like braces) will not be eligible. For those who join the study, they will help researchers learn more about how vitamins may affect dental health, which could lead to better ways to prevent tooth decay in the future. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable information that could benefit children's dental health.
