ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the size of your hands and the way you use your smartphone might affect pain and function in your arms and hands. Researchers want to understand if there's a connection between the measurements of your hand and the discomfort you may feel from using your phone too much. The goal is to help people make better choices about their smartphone use, especially since many of us rely on our phones daily.
To participate in this study, you should be between the ages of 18 and 65, and use your smartphone for at least one hour a day, either for gaming or browsing. You’ll need to send at least five messages or emails each day from your phone. However, if you have had an injury to your hand or arm in the past six months, or if you have certain medical conditions affecting your hands, you wouldn’t be eligible to join. Participants in the trial will help researchers gather important information, and what they learn could lead to better advice on smartphone use and hand comfort in the future.
