ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focusing on a condition called adenomyosis, which occurs when the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the muscle wall of the uterus. The researchers want to understand if certain small molecules in the blood, known as miRNAs, are present in different amounts in women with adenomyosis compared to healthy women. By studying these differences, the goal is to develop new ways to diagnose adenomyosis more effectively.

To participate in this study, women must be at least 18 years old and pre-menopausal. Unfortunately, those with certain health conditions, like HIV or Hepatitis, or those who have recently participated in another clinical study, will not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to have a blood sample taken, which will then be analyzed to look for these specific miRNAs. This research could lead to important advancements in how adenomyosis is diagnosed and managed in the future.
