ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a specific physical activity program, called the GH Method, can help patients on dialysis or those with serious kidney disease feel better and improve their health. The goal is to see if this training can reduce feelings of frailty and pain in these patients, making their lives easier and more comfortable.
To participate in the study, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and currently undergoing dialysis, or have advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD), or be a recent kidney transplant recipient. You must also be able to understand and follow instructions for the physical activity and diet. However, if you have certain heart or lung conditions that would make exercise unsafe, or if you can’t travel to the training center, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to take part in a structured exercise program designed to help you improve your strength and overall well-being while receiving support from healthcare professionals.
